Our goal
We want Kovetto to be operable with a keyboard, a screen reader and magnification — including for your clients, who open a public feedback session without ever signing up. Our yardstick is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA.
What is in place today
- A “Skip to content” link as the first element of every marketing page.
- A visible focus ring (2 px, with offset) on every control.
- Form fields with a real
<label>, help text and an inline error message. - The plan comparison table with a caption, column and row headers, and “yes/no” as text for screen readers.
- Body text from 16 px, labels from 13 px, touch targets from 44 px.
- No autoplay: the demo video starts on click and has controls.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” system setting: reveal animations are skipped.
What is still open
- Captions for the demo video.
- A full WCAG 2.2 AA review of the internal app (dashboard, projects, inbox).
- A contrast review of every state in the light theme.
We list this openly rather than claiming a conformance we have not verified.
No overlay widget
We deliberately do not use an accessibility overlay. Such widgets cover the page with their own controls and frequently interfere with the very assistive technology people have already set up. We fix the page itself instead.
Reporting a barrier
If you run into something, email us at [email protected]. Please describe the page, the assistive technology and what did not work. We reply within five working days.
Legal note
Kovetto is a business-to-business product. The obligations of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) apply to consumer services and do not bind us directly. We follow them anyway, because a feedback tool only works if everyone involved can operate it.
